Kerridge Commercial Systems
Over the years, we have retained our name as it has a long history behind it. It all started with a humble bicycle shop in the 1800s. As time evolves, we want to transform along with it. To mark a new age of technological advances, Kerridge Commercial Systems (inspHire) has now officially been renamed to Klipboard. We wanted to unite our 1,650+ employees across the globe under one banner, one bold vision.
What does this mean for you?
You will begin to see the name Klipboard being used more often over time. Such as our new www.klipboard.com website, our LinkedIn page, and emails are now all coming from a klipboard.com address. All of your day-to-day contacts and administrative processes, such as invoicing, contracts, and support, will remain the same.
Product
As part of our move to Klipboard, we are aiming to make our product naming simpler and easier to identify. We’ve listened to your feedback. We have renamed many of our products and grouped them into clearer areas with recognisable industry names.
This is why Current RMS has now been renamed to OnRent Events.
What does this mean for you?
We are making changes slowly and carefully, so you may continue to see Current RMS being used whilst we transition to OnRent Events.
However, rest assured, the products themselves remain the same amazing pieces of software to power your business daily!
We welcome any questions you have, so please get in touch if you need any help or clarification. In the meantime, it continues to be business as usual, and we can’t wait to continue the journey with you!
Thank you #WeAreKlipboard
What Should Users Know About System Rebranding and Communication of Updates?
System rebranding is a process where the name or visual identity of a system is updated. This article explains what users need to know about such changes and how updates are communicated.
Understanding System Rebranding
When a system undergoes rebranding, such as a name change, it is important to note that the functionality of the system typically remains unchanged. For example, in a recent update, the system was renamed to "OnRent Events," but no changes were made to its features or operations. Users can continue to use the system as they always have, without any disruptions or need for additional training. Visual updates, if any, are usually introduced at a later stage.
Communication of Updates
To ensure users are well-informed about rebranding or other significant updates, the system administrators will communicate these changes in advance. Notifications about updates are typically provided within the system itself, allowing users to prepare for the changes. For instance, users were informed about the name change to "OnRent Events" through in-app notices before the change took effect. This approach ensures transparency and minimizes any potential confusion. By understanding the implications of system rebranding and staying attentive to communication channels, users can seamlessly adapt to updates without any disruption to their workflow.
