Big news, OnRent Events has a brand-new look! After launching with the same interface since day one, we've given OnRent Events a full visual refresh, and we cannot wait for you to see it. As promised, ahead of our 7th of September release date, we wanted to provide you with some more details for commonly asked questions and share some more screenshots with you for what you can expect!
What's changing
Every major module now features a new colour palette and refreshed call-to-action buttons, giving the whole platform a cleaner, more modern feel. The standout change is a fully collapsible sidebar across all major modules, so you can tailor your workspace and get more screen space when you need it.
Documents and actions have also moved. Rather than living in the side panel, they now sit in easy-to-find dropdown menus at the top of each page.
This refresh is also a big step forward for accessibility. We're working towards full alignment with WCAG guidelines, and we're continuing to actively review the system to make sure it meets those standards for everyone who uses it.
What's staying the same
Your workflows aren't changing! Every core function, all your key data, and the everyday processes you know work in exactly the same way they always have. Nothing has been removed, this is a refresh of how things look, not what they do.
A quick note on branding & domains
You may notice some naming and branding updates alongside the new look, this will officially take Current RMS forward as OnRent Events, aligning us with the rest of the Klipboard brand family and giving the product a much-needed facelift.
We know some of you have asked, and to be clear: your domain and access points to the system are not changing as part of this release. A change like that would affect how every customer logs in, so before we consider it, we want to properly consult with you and fully understand any impact it could have. We will investigate all potential consequences of a change to domains and launch a customer consultation long before we implement anything related to it.
We're still listening
We're continuing to welcome feedback throughout our final beta phases and would like to thank all our beta users for the valuable feedback they have provided so far. If something doesn't feel right or you spot anything that could work better, tell us. We're also still actively scanning the system to catch anything that doesn't yet meet our accessibility standards. We’ve also received some very useful feedback from various customers during our Customer Advisory Board meeting, which is all being taken into consideration, too.
Take a look at some sneak peeks of the new interface below! Any further questions? Let us know!
Thank you for being part of our customer base, and a member of our community. We can’t wait to share more of what we’re working on with you soon!
