How do I finalize a sales-only opportunity?

Current RMS is great at handling sales items as well as your rental stock. If you’ve created an opportunity that only has sales items on it, you need to go through the same process as you would with a rental opportunity, including checking in the items and finalizing the check in.

When you check in a sales item, you’re telling Current RMS what happened to the stock. Nothing is fully ‘sold’ until you check it in and finalize the check-in.

Checking in sale stock doesn't return it to your inventory unless you mark it as returned. Sale returns move to the quarantine.

You can modify the check-in details by clicking the blue drop-down arrow to the right of the item.

You’ll get a screen that allows you to tell Current whether the stock was sold or returned.

Finalizing the check-in marks the items as completed and fully sold.
