How to reset your document back to the Default layout

Resetting your documents back to default will wipe any custom amendments made to it. Once you reset the Document, it cannot be undone. Please be absolutely sure you want to do this!

How to Reset a Document Layout to Default

The reset button on documents is a useful tool for resetting a document back to its default layout. This can be helpful if you have made changes to a document and want to start fresh, or if you accidentally made changes that you want to undo.

Step-by-Step Instructions

To use the reset button on documents, follow these simple steps:

  1. Sign into your Current RMS instance and go to System Setup.

  2. Scroll to the bottom and select Document Layouts, this will show a list of all your current Documents.

  3. Select the Dropdown arrow of the Document you want to reset and select Edit from the menu.

  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the Document edit page and select the red button called Reset Document Layout to Default.

  5. If you are absolutely sure you want to reset the Document layout to Default, Click the confirmation button.

That's it! Your document should now be reset to the Default layout.

At the top of the document, they need to use:

{% assign order = project.sorted_opportunities.first %}

and instead of project.opportunities or quotations, they need to use the below:

{{ project.sorted_opportunities }
{{ project.sorted_quotations }}
