If you signed up for Current RMS before the release of automatic costing in October 2018, opportunities you created prior may not have automatic costing enabled. 

For orders, reserved quotations, and provisional quotation, click Enable Auto Costing under Actions.

For existing drafts and open quotations, automatic costs will be created when you convert the opportunity to an order, or when you mark the quotation as provisional or reserved.

When enabled, existing costs that you entered against the opportunity will be retained, so we recommend you review the costs view to remove duplicates and make sure everything’s accurate.
